AJS Controls was started in January 1990 as a manufacturer's representative for electrical motors. The business also manufactured small electrical assemblies and built wire harnesses. As the business grew additional product lines were added; and, before long, a new facility was acquired to handle the operations in 1993. In 1994 the business added PC board assembly, further diversifying the products manufactured by AJS Controls but continuing in the vein of providing the customer with what they want.

It has been the Company's philosophy from the start that shipments will be on time and that the products shipped will be of the highest possible quality. It is the Company's belief that people are the only thing that sets one company apart from the next; and, as a result, people always come first at AJS Controls.

Our dedication to this philosophy and the company's desire to better service our customer base by offering added value services to our product line, saw a dramatic increase in specialized projects.

This increase, caused a need to relocate our facilities again. AJS is now located in a 30,000 sq. ft. factory in Sidney, NY. This location offers ideal shipping abilities due to it's proximity to major highways.

The company is now primarily a contract manufacturer and has 5 internal divisions offering low cost solutions for our customer's requirements. Whether these needs be for PC boards, Encoders, Metals, Plastics or Engineering; AJS will offer a complete quality turnkey solution!
